Even more life-like worlds!
FT Pro gives you tools to make your worlds even more life like. FT Pro adds craters, rivers and lakes, and superb new editing tools. New fractal types give a whole new look to your worlds.
World-crafting lets you paint climate, and FT Pro will build the terrain to match. You can overlay multiple transparencies to add clouds and other real-life detail. You can convert color contoured maps to height, allowing bitmaps from scans other software to be imported into FT Pro 3D relief. You can automate complex tasks with a script editor.
FT Pro new features
- Automatically generate river networks.
- Import maps with color to altitidue conversion, allowing traditional maps to be converted to FT Pro 3D relief.
- World-crafting. Start from a flat plain and use height tools to form the terrain. Alternatively paint the climate and FT Pro will construct the terrain to match.
- New editing tools include smooth, roughen, deterrace, fill basin, raise, lower, mound, build mountains and noise.
- Use overlays from multiple images, with optional transparency, to add detail such as clouds.
- New conic and interrupted projections, and the power to define your own.
- Add craters, or institute a planetary bombardment.
- Scripting language to automate complex and repetitive tasks.
- Improved dialog boxes to give easier customization of contour colors, grid settings, export options, world creation parameters and editing values.
