A line is simply two linked nodes. If you want to draw a series of lined lines, it’s better to use Path, as path are a single entity, much easier to edit.
Right click on Line 
to access all the line type.
Click on Line to draw the default line type.
Right click Line , choose options, choose a line type, then click Default action for Line icon to select which line is draw by the Line icon
Line types:
