This is a text-only command.

Type the text equivalent at the command prompt

Thaw un-freezes a layer. Thaw is the default state for working layers.

The current layer is always thawed. Hidden layers can be thawed.

Use the FREEZE command to freeze any thawed layer (except the current layer).

Note: Layers can be thawed anytime the Select Layer dialog box is displayed, no matter what command invokes it.

The prompt reads "Layer name [Dialog]:". To select the layer to thaw:

· Type an existing layer name and press ENTER.

· Right-click to display the Select Layer dialog box. Highlight the layer you wish to thaw (the box next to it should an "F" in it) and un-check the Freeze box. The "F" should disappear from the box next to the layer name. You can select more than one layer to thaw. Choose OK to confirm the changes and close the dialog box.

CC3 redraws the screen, thawing all entities on the previously frozen layer(s).

To thaw all layers:

Use the THAW ALL command (Options > Layer Options > Thaw All).

To freeze a thawed layer:

Use the FREEZE command (Options > Layer Options > Freeze).
