Line Sets parametrically define the lines that comprise a hatch fill. The lines that make a hatch fill are the same lines you draw with, so they can be viewed or modified with the LINE STYLE command. CC3 allows up to four line sets per hatch style. Not all line sets need to be used. Line sets with null specification values (angle, spacing, offset) are not enabled.
Set Parameters. Select a line set to create, display, or edit its parameters.
Line Style. Choose any available line style by clicking on the drop down list. This list displays the same line styles defined using the. You can create a custom line style to be used in hatches using Defining a New Line Style
Angle is the bearing of each line in the line set. The angles correspond to the default CC3 orientation, where the "3 o'clock" position equal 0° and positive rotation is counter-clockwise.
Spacing is the distance in CC3 units between each line in the line set.
X & Y Offset are displacement values for a line set from the nominal origin of the hatch pattern. Use this command to originate a line set from somewhere other than the lower left corner.
Sample width controls what you see in the sample display. Sample width simply defines the number of times the pattern is repeated. This enables you to see how the arrayed pattern will look in actual use.
