Glue Tabs

When a net is cut out and assembled, some method is required of attaching the panels of the net to each other to derive the final object. In CCD, this method is provided in the shape of glue tabs.

Glue tabs are normally attached to panel edges that need to be glued to other panels during final construction. The Add Tab command is used to draw glue tabs. The style form used by glue tabs can be set via the Dioramas Options dialog.

Glue tabs are standard CC3 polygons, and may be manipulated in exactly the same way as such standard entities are. Tabs are actually single entities, even though one would normally expect an outlined entity to actually comprise two entities (a solid-filled one and a hollow one). Instead, tabs make use of CC3’s "second color" property - the actual color set for the tab entity determines the "outline" color, and the second color set determines the internal color. Both of these color values can be set via the Dioramas Options dialog.
