Replace Text

On the Edit menu, click Text to access Replace Text.

Replace Text lets you change any text contained within a text string or even whole text strings. You can also use this to select any text in the drawing that contains a certain string.

Select the text which you want REPLACE TEXT to search
Set the dialog box options.
Select Replace One or Replace All.

Find: Type the text string you want to match.

Replace: Type the text string with which you want to replace the "Find" string.

Match:

All: matches only complete text.

Part: matches any text containing the Find text.

Begininning: matches any text the starts with the Find text.

Ignore Case. the Find text ignores whether letters are upper or lower case.

Prompt: prompt will show a crosshairs at the selected text and ask if you wish to replace it, then move on to the next text.

Replace One: replaces the first found instance of the Find text.

Replace All: replaces all instances of the Find text.
