Symbol Style Toggle

Symbol Style Toggle changes the current catalog in the symbol catalog window, if you have a current symbol catalog setting, or shows all the catalogs of that style if you have not select a current symbol catalog setting.

For example, let’s say you had clicked Overland > Symbol Settings > Water/Rivers. The Filled Water/Rivers catalog would appear in the catalog window. If you then selected Symbol Style Toggle, the Line/Rivers catalog would appear in the window.

Symbol Style Toggle works by starting Symbol Catalog Settings with a text filter (usually Filled or Line) Symbol Catalog Settings then lists all matching catalogs.

Note

• The default styles are Line and Filled. If you have Symbol Set 1 installed, the styles available will also include Fantasy and Handdrawn.

• To add new styles to the list, build all the catalogs for the new style, add them to the symbol catalog settings. Include a common text string in each symbol catalog setting. Then, right click on Symbol Style Toggle, select Master Filter Settings. Add your new filter names, then select Save. Save over CC3.
