Rivers

Default River . is an overland drawing tool which lets you add rivers to your maps. CC3 includes a default river. Rivers are usually added to a map after you have added the landmasses, and contours. Rivers attach them selves to other rivers and coastlines when you click near them.

To add the default river

1. Click Default River .

2. Click and move the mouse to add points. When you click outside the map border, the point snaps to the nearest border edge or corner.

3. Right-click to complete the current river.

4. You can now add more rivers, or right click to finish.

Note

• To see a list of all river-drawing tools, right click Default River .

• The Contour properties override those you have currently set in the drawing.

Menu or right click on toolbar button: DRAWTOOLSP;Map River* - displays all river drawing tools.

Toolbar button click: DRAWTOOLSP; Map River, Default* - displays the default river drawing tools
