Line Style Sections

The value entered here represents a proportion of the pattern that will be either a dash or a space, relative to the other line style sections. For instance, if there is a "draw" length of 5, followed by a "skip" length of 10, followed by a "draw" length of 5, the following pattern will result:

As such, the Line Style Section value is independent of the pattern length value specified elsewhere in the dialog box. No matter what the pattern length is, each draw or skip section will remain in proportion to each other.
