surveyor bearings

Surveyor bearings are used by architects, cartographers, etc., to express direction. Direction is referenced from the north-south compass axis (positive y-axis is "north"). They are expressed in dms format using a N/S prefix and an E/W suffix. For example, a typical 45° line is expressed as N45°E. When prompted for bearing or angle width input, you can enter the value in surveyor bearings.
