Copy to Clipboard

Right click on Copy $image\COPY.gif$ to see clipboard commands.

COPY places entities on the clipboard. CC3 makes three versions of data files available on the clipboard:

· CC3 format (FCW)

· Windows Enhanced Metafile format (EMF)

· Windows Bit-Mapped format (BMP)

Simply select the entities you want copied to the clipboard with the Entity Selection dialog box., then select an origin for the entities.

COPY works within CC3, after quitting and restarting CC3, or between two separate copies of CC3.

The options (resolution, etc) for the clipboard can be accessed from Import/Export Settings Options on the Tools menu.
If you want to copy entities already in your drawing to another place in your drawing, use Copy In Drawing.
If you want to export a rectangular section of a map for export to the web, use Save As from the File menu and click BMP Bitmap section from Files of Type.
