1) I can't find the tutorials. Where are they?

2) I've just installed the Core Rules 2.0 patch & now CM does not work!

3) The Help file has a lot of missing or broken links.

4) The screen redraws are too slow.

5) My screen is not displaying correctly, there are shadows on it &/or lines.

6) Will Dungeon Designer 2 (DD2) work with Campaign Mapper?

7) Ok - I've installed DD2 but when I attempt to draw a map the program faults and requires me to close the application.

8) I don't know what happened , but I lost my background.

9) I can't get maps to print right or they won't print at all.

1) The Campaign Mapper manual/tutorials are located in the Documents folder under CM (default C:\CM\Documents\). Open either Campaign Mapper Manual.doc or Campaign Mapper Manual.wri in your word processor to access the text for the tutorials. Please do the tutorials :-) They are really well written & will help you get the most out of the program with the shortest time investment.

2) Make sure you have installed Campaign Mapper's patch as well as the Core Rules 2.0 patch

3) Please download Campaign Mapper's patch. The patch contains an updated Help file for CM.

4) Please download Campaign Mapper's patch. The patch contains faster loading symbols & templates. Also see the notes on Redraws for additional information.

5) This problem is caused by incorrectly written display driver software for certain graphics cards. Please read Display problems for additional information.

6) All of the Dungeon Designer 2 symbols will work with Campaign Mapper. The program improvements will not function in Campaign Mapper, you would need CC2 to access the program improvements.

7) To solve this problem, insert the last symbol (Jigsaw Tiles) from the Geomorph catalog into your map, undo it, then continue as normal. Please also do this in the file dungeon.fct then save over it.

8) To restore a lost background.

a) Select the layer icon. Set the BACKGROUND layer current, freeze all.
b) Erase All Entities, Do it.
c) Select fill style , solid then a color.
d) Turn SNAP on. Select Box then draw a box from the bottom left corner to the
top right corner.
e) Finally, change the map background color (this sends the background behind
everything else)

9) Please see the Printer Help document.
