·   Choose what you want to do then;

·   select the entities you want to change.

1. Select your editing command from the Edit buttons, or the Edit menu.

2. You will see a pick cursor that looks like this: image\Pick_cursor.gif

·   Click a point on the edge of an entity you wish to edit. CC3 searches the drawing for all entities that cross or are included in the cursor pick box. CC3 marks the entities found by drawing over them in gray. Continue selecting entities or right-click to move on to the next step.

·   If you don’t include entities in the pick box, the selected point will act as the first corner of a selection window. Don’t drag the mouse! Select a second point to finish the selection window. Everything that crosses or is inside the window will be added to the selection.

·   Press and hold CTRL whilst selecting entities to remove them from the selection.

During selection, CC3 keeps you informed at the Command prompt.

3. CC3 then allows you to either select more entities. When you’ve finished selecting the entities you want to edit, right click the mouse button.

4. Click Do it from the context menu.

5. At this stage, CC3 is ready to perform the edit. In some cases CC3 will ask for more information. For example, if you’ve asked to change the color of an entity, CC3 will ask you to select a color (from the color bar, by typing a number, or by right clicking and selecting a color from the dialog box). In other cases you might have to select one or more points (e.g. a "Move from" and "Move to" point for MOVE.)
