To select all entities in the drawing:
1. Choose the editing command
2. Right click then click All.
To select the same entities you were just working on:
1. Choose the editing command
2. Right click then click Prior.
At any time during an editing command, you can right click, then add entities with particular properties . Simply right click then select the appropriate option.
To select entities with a particular Color:
1. Right click, select Color. The Command line reads "Color[dialog]:"
2. Either select the color from the color bar , type the number of the color, or right click and select a color from the dialog box.
To select entities on a particular layer:
1. Right click, select Layer. The Command line reads "Layer[dialog]:"
2. Either right click and select a color from the dialog box or type the layer name.
To select entities of a particualr type (e.g. circles, arcs, paths, text):
1. Right click, select Type.
2. Select one or more types of entity from the dialog box – scroll right to the end if you don’t think you can see the type you are after.
If you find that you can’t select a particular entity, it is most likely on a frozen layer.
Advanced selection options such as excluding entities on a particular layer
