Using the clipboard with CC3

Right click on Copy $image\COPY.gif$ to see clipboard commands.

Just as with other CC3 commands, COPY, CUT, and PASTE first ask for entities to be operated upon, and then the command is carried out.

Information can be pasted from the clipboard in CC3’s fcw format, or in text. It can be copied or pasted to the clipboard in .FCW, .BMP or .EMF format.

Notes

To change the options (resolution, etc) for the clipboard click Options on the Tools menu, then click the EMF and BMP buttons.
If you want to copy entities already in your drawing to another place in your drawing, use Copy In Drawing.
If you want to export a rectangular section of a map for export to the web, use Save As from the File menu and click BMP Bitmap section from Files of Type.
