Scale

Click Scale to resize entities.

Scale lets you scale entities visually in both horizontally and vertically.

1. Select the entities you wish to scale

The prompt reads "Scale Origin:"

1. To change the scale reference point, press SHIFT and move the mouse. The greater the diatance the reference point is from the scale origin, the finer the control

2. To scale the X and Y direction independently press CTRL and move the mouse. Moving left-right will scale X and up-down will scale Y. To scale X and Y independently click the Ortho button.
   

Note

• The TAB key will make the cursor redraw faster. The fast draw mode is remembered between commands, so remember to turn it off if you need to.

• The appearance of the cursor is determined by the current cursor options. Right click on Move, Scale, Rotate then click Cursor Options to change this.

• There is a non-visual version of rotate, if you know the exact angle of rotation. Right-click Scale and click Non-Visual Scale.
