Circle: Center and Point On

Right click Circle image\CIRCP.gif to add a Circle, Center and Point On to your drawing.

CENTER AND POINT ON draws a circle when you specify its center point and a point on its circumference.

  1. The prompt reads "Center [x,y]:" and the cursor becomes crosshairs.

·   Right-click or press ENTER to accept the default or prior center;

·   Select a new center with the crosshairs and left button, or;

· Type numeric coordinates and press ENTER.

  1. The prompt reads "|DynTrack| Point on circle:" and a stretching cursor is displayed. Select a point on the circle, stretching the circle until it's the size you want, then press the left button.

Please note: The "DynTrack" prompt indicates that your are using dynamic cursors. While stretching the cursor, you can hold down the SHIFT key to "pick up" and move the circle. Release the SHIFT key to go back to stretching. CC3 draws the circle.

If you wish to continue drawing a series of center and point circles, left-click to restart the command.

Center and Point On circle tips
This command is great for creating a series of concentric circles. Draw the first circle, press a button to repeat the command then press the right button at the "Center [x,y]:" prompt to start another circle with the same center.
